Parents are a child's First and Best teachers. We want YOU to help us prove it. Apply now to be part of DPN's Parents as Reading Tutors pilot program.

This paid training program consists of 2 weeks of full-time training on how to be a reading coach, with an evidenced-based tutoring curriculum; followed by 3 weeks of part-time on-the-job training, shadowing a current tutor. After 5 weeks of training, participants will have the opportunity to be hired as full-time reading tutors working with children ages 3-18 years old within a school setting.

Training time will be paid at an average rate of $15/hr over the 5 weeks.

Hired Tutors must commit to 5 days a week on-site with students

Hired Tutors will be employed for $17-19/hr

Eligibility Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Education

Some college experience (preferred)
